Week 3 Designing Mobile Games

Idea 1 - Bush Fire

You are a helicopter that needs to put on bush fires
  • Side Scrolling Game
  • The helicopter drops water to take out the bush fires
  • The helicopter lands back at base(Helipad) to refill its watertank
  • The helicopter must protect the town from being burnt down
  • If the fire reach the town its game over
  • You are able to purchase a bigger water tank and the ability to spreed the water more


Idea 2 - Blow away Zombies

You must place bomb on the stage to kill zombies and stop them from getting to your house

  • Left to right view
  • You Use your finger to place bomb on the stage
  • the bomb blows after 3 seconds
  • the bomb kills the zombies
  • As the game progresses you can level up and get bigger bomb to take out bigger zombies
  • You have 5 hit points


Idea 3 -  Building Blocks

You must use your construction workers to build the tower in the object window

  • Left to right view
  • You have worker which are used to move the blocks
  • the builders work together to build blocks
  • There is a recommended time and move limit in the game which will allow you to get more money if completed in that time.
  • if you complete within the time and move limit you get a star rating
  • the game has an in store shop which allows you to buy items that allow can help support the structure
  • The blocks are laid  out of the floor or there is a panel which will contain the blocks
  • you use your finger to control the unit and operate the GUI
  • you earn money as you progress through the stage
  • You can also hire workers to help you on the stage
  • there is an object window that shows you what you must build with the blocks given

  1. I like Idea 2.

    The goal is to protect the house & thereby stop the zombies or werewolves or unknown supernatural forces from entering. Playing such a game has a tight and tense feeling.
